Bad breath is unpleasant for us and the people around us. For a person concerned it is a big problem and sometimes embarrassing.
Bad breath is caused by anaerobic bacteria hidden in old plaque, periodontal pockets and fissures of the tongue. With the CURAPROX Prophylaxis Concept you can fight bad breath more effectively than ever before.
The coating on the tongue is the main cause of bad breath. The slightly yellow coating is the perfect culture medium for odour producing bacteria because bacteria can deposit in the fissures of the tongue and produce sulphur gas under the exclusion of oxygen.
Clean your tongue daily with a tongue cleaner. That is the first important step to fight bad breath. You will feel the difference after the very first application.
The fissures of the tongue.
The odour producing bacteria deposit in the fissures.
For effective cleaning of the dorsum: CURAPROX CTC 203 consists of two different tongue cleaners with different cleaning blades. The tongue cleaners are adapted to the anatomy of the tongue to avoid choking.
That’s how it works: Remove the coating on your tongue every morning. Scrape the whole dorsum from as far back as possible to the front.
A toothbrush cannot clean the critical and most important areas between your teeth and close to your gum line. Bacteria remaining in these areas not only cause caries but also bad breath!
Clean your interdental spaces with space filling interdental brushes (CPS “prime”) on a daily basis.
Additionally we advise you to clean the gum line with a Single-Brush (CS 1006 “single”).
The toothbrush does not reach the critical areas between your teeth!
The road to success: CURAPROX CPS “prime” interdental brushes with the finest yet strongest wire core. The flexible and long bristles adapt perfectly to the anatomy of the interdental spaces therefore reaching into every corner while removing bacteria that can cause bad breath.
That’s how it works: Gently insert the interdental brush and clean the interdental space by moving the brush ONCE back and forth – that’s enough if you do it on a daily basis.
Insufficient instruction and bad tools aid the development of bacteria around implants and under bridges. Bacteria can deposit in these critical spots over weeks and cause inflammation and bad breath.
Clean the areas around your implants and under bridges with interdental brushes (CPS “strong & implant”, CPS “prime”) Use an ultra soft toothbrush with a small brush head (CS 5460 “ultra soft”)
Only the interdental brush can clean these areas effectively.
The bristles of a regular toothbrush are mostly too hard to reach the critical areas without applying too much pressure. The gentle CUREN® bristles of CURAPROX CS 5460 “ultra soft” are 10 times more effective because the brush head has 10 times more bristles than one on a regular toothbrush.
A Single-Brush is a very precise tool. It cleans the tooth without applying pressure to the gums. For effective and non-traumatic cleaning of teeth and the gum line it is recommended to use the Single-Brush CURAPROX CS 1006 “single”.
